Desiderii Marginis один из наиболее значимых проектов на шведской Dark Ambient сцене, созданный Йоханом Левиным в начале 1990-х. Выпустив ряд выдающихся альбомов на индустриальном гиганте Cold Meat Industry, проект добился культового статуса среди поклонников ambient / industrial музыки во всём мире, достигнув высочайшего творческого уровня и популярности.
"Years Lend a Golden Charm" - ретроспектива самого начала творческого пути Йохана Левина, включающая издание первых 3-х MC альбомов "Consecrare", "Via Peregrinus" и "Hortus Conclusus/Triptych", записанных 1992-93 гг. , так и не получивших распространения в своё время по различным причинам. Сегодня, спустя более 15 лет, время этих записей пришло, однако, как признаётся сам Йохан, их влияние ощущается на протяжении всего его творческого пути. Начиная с "Songs Over Ruins" и заканчивая последним шедевром "Seven Sorrows". Альбом издан в формате роскошного 6-панельного digi-pack.
To gain a deeper understanding of what is, it is necessary to examine what was – to go to the sources and the origins. With the emergence of this brand new offering by Desiderii Marginis, ‘Years Lend a Golden Charm’ we are invited to experience the very birth of what is now a well established and worldwide recognised project within the dark-ambient industrial scene. The contents of the new album is made up of some 73 minutes of material from the first three tapereleases from 1993. Highly sought after by collectors but only available in a mere dozen of handmade copies, these songs are now finally made available to a greater audience. When you listen to the music with the knowledge that hindsight brings - it is obvious that these are the roots and the foundations, not only of the first full length album ‘Songs Over Ruins’, but of every succesive release up to the latest ‘Seven Sorrows’. Knifeladder have been in existence in one form or another since 1998. Their sound is the culmination of years of experimentation and independent development. The resultant sound is a heavily percussive industrial organic hybrid, a new meshing of electronic loops, live bass and percussion and ethnic instrumentation to form a kind of Organic Industrial Music.Two years after the release of 'The Spectacle' (now sold out) Cold Meat Industry are pleased to present the latest work by Knifeladder; 'Music/Concrete'. - a unique mix of hi tec and lo fi sounds, authorititive drums courtesy of the one and only John Murphy, and distorted obscure instruments, Knifeladder have again produced a work of great visceral power. With shuddering machine loops overlaid with frenetic metal percussion, power ambient soundscapes melting into epic defiant anthems, Music/Concrete uses traditional hand played electronics and instrumentation to realise a throroughly contemporary vision of rebirth and decay.
Compared to such acts as Test Dept, Coil and Mother Destruction, Knifeladder have outgrown their reference points to create their own niche in the genre obsessed Industrial scene.
The personnel include Jonh Murphy, percussionist and electronic pioneer with such acts as SPK, early Current 93 and credible pop act The Associates. Andrew Trail was founder of Autogeddon and performed in the controversial Ministry of Love, who broke up after being banned from performing in every live venue in Sydney. Hunter Barr was a founder member of the infamous Infant Skull Surgery and is a renowned recording engineer for his unconventional yet obsessively perfectionist approach. Knifeladder themselves have performed with such acts as Allerseen, Sieben, Naevus, Coil, Bad Sector and Neither/neither world. With over 100 live actions, they have mastered the live environment like few others.

ELDAR is a Barcelona-based project created in 2004 by Marc Merinee and Merce Spica, with a few obscure and limited releases in the past, Cold Meat Industry are pleased to present a new chapter in the bands history, a chapter certain to put ELDAR on the Dark-Ambient / Martial map. On this new album, entitled SAPERE AUDE, each track has been created in a unique collaboration with close related bands and projects, each introducing new instruments, melodies and voices - all treated and strongly bound together by the special ELDAR-sound to an epic and entralling listening. This is classic old-school CMI music, in the vein of Archon Satani, early Raison d'кtre; low brooding analog industrial sounds and voices, thunderous percussion with a densed martial bombast.
Collaborating acts have been the following: Psychaotic, Der Blauer Reiter, Wyrm, Nurss, Persona, R.E.O., Argentum, Verbum, Miguel Mazur, Plagiarism Is Art, Erg, Ruins Winter, Lomo Bajo, Escuadron de la Muerte.

The sole member of New Risen Throne is know as Stielh, and is one of the Grand Masters of the blackened dark ambient coming from Italy recently (see also Vestigial). His exceptional black foreboding ambient creations is wellknown in the scene by now. The previous NRT release "Whispers of the approaching wastefulness" (Cyclic Law) represented the steps leading to the acknowledgment of the approaching end of all things... This new chapter "Crossing the withered Regions" is the journey thru wasted "regions" of our inner self, withered by our doubts, thoughts and fear about the end. This is the soundtrack to the world we live and experience at the very present. This is utterly dark! and there is certainly no sun in the horizon. Slit your wrists and float away...

On Friday the 13th of June 2003, the Swedish aggressor penetrated a virginal North America and left its sick stain inside the city of Chicago. The assault lasted for just over sixty agonizing minutes, intimidation of power the only lubrication. Sometimes slow and accompanied by whispered threats, other times hard and gratuitously painful. Always overbearing and unrelenting. Isn't that what LOVE is supposed to feel like? Moans of pleasure in the throes of violation. The amplification of obsession within an ongoing "abusive" relationship. The evidence of trauma conveniently packaged and presented as commodity. Feel dirty and ashamed over and over again. В его музыке объединены такие распространенные методы акустического воздействия на слушателя, как вплетающиеся в музыку крики людей и внезапно меняющиеся уровни звука, так и уникальная практика полевых записей и использование очень низких частот. Работы Lustmord для множества эмбиентных групп стали неисчерпаемым источником идей, его влияние на dark ambient и industrial сцены с трудом поддаётся оценке.
Metavoid великолепный альбом Lustmord, созданный в 2001 г. Существует множество вещей, связанных с фундаментальными основами Вселенной, которые человеческий разум не способен понять. Ничтожность человека в масштабах Вселенной основная идея альбома. Звуковое полотно идеально и поражает своим высочайшим качеством. Мрачная космическая музыка наполнена гигантскими галактическими звуковыми пластами, солнечным ветром и гипнотическим магнетизмом чёрных дыр ... Холодная и тёмная музыка. как ни странно таковой не кажется самому автору ... В этом плане интересно мнение самого Брайна -
«Пожалуй, dark ambient сейчас — самый консервативный стиль, держащийся лишь на имитации и собственной ограниченности. Я знаю, что моя музыка тоже подпадает под эту категорию, но в ней нет ничего нарочно мрачного. Я бы предпочел говорить о глубине перспективы, и если люди видят в ней один лишь мрак, значит, в этом состоит их цель. Моя же цель — показать, что есть места, эффект присутствия в которых может быть выражен только в музыке, и доступ к этим местам может быть также осуществлен лишь с помощью музыки.»

Классический альбом, недавно умершего, классика drone experimental ambient. Барака - старинное персидское слово, которое означает "благословление". Что удивительно, большинство записей Визе, которые издаются сейчас, созданы порядка 15-20 лет назад. Альбом "Baraka" не исключение, будучи одним из самых ярких в дискографии Клауса,представляет собой два фантастических протяжённых трека, смещённых в гулкие медитативные ритмы тибетских шаманских камланий. Несмотря на выдержку временем, звучание очень свежее и актуальное. Крайне интересная работа
Oophoi - Upuaut, CD 400 руб.
"Upuaut" - это необычная композиция длиной 65 минут, записанная в 1999 г. итальянским drone ambient музыкантом Oophoi, совместно с Амиром Багири и Матиасом Грассовым, присоединившимся к нему во время специального частного концерта. С тех пор эта запись циркулировала по миру в виде неприглядных CDR-релизов и только теперь она наконец издана должным образом.

Итальянский космический туманный drone-ambient, записанный с использованием синтезаторов, электроники, тибетских поющих чаш, камней и сякухачи. Альбом написан под вдохновлением самого тёмного лунного моря - Моря Штормов, Mare Imbrium. Мрачные волны синтезаторного звука, тонкие шумовые полоски, отдалённые голоса богов и глубокие медленные резонансы создают трансовую атмосферу, требующую внимательного прослушивания и полного погружения.

Слово «Ашрам» происходит из санскрита, и его можно приблизительно истолковать как «место без боли» («шрам» — боль, «а» — отрицание).
Красивые пассажи на фортепьяно (Luigi Rubino), где вокруг задаваемой мелодии звучит плачущая скрипка (Edo Notarloberti) и виолончель (Leonardo Massa). Всё это в большинстве произведений сопровождается прекрасным вокалом Серджио Панарелло. Темы коллектива грустные, ностальгические, романтичные, часто тревожные, но четко сбалансированные. Музыка сама по себе очень талантливая, элегантная и разносторонняя. Красивые чувственные композиции с мягким мужским вокалом и редкие поп-баллады с гитарным аккомпанементом отлично уживаются рядом с чисто инструментальными этюдами и мини-концертами для фортепиано и скрипки, о которых действительно можно сказать, что они классические. Кажется, что на инструментах играют не обычные живые люди, а чье-то дыхание, жаркое, прерывистое, заставляет двигаться в такт смычок, нежно пробегает по клавишам, оседает на струнах, мгновенно срывается и сливается с криком инструмента, несется вверх, минуя все искусственные преграды, вперед, над лодками старых рыбаков с иссиня-рыжей щетиной вперед навстречу тому, что было всегда, навстречу бездонной красоте, навстречу вечному океану. © |

Aghast was formed in 1994 be Nebelhexe and Nacht. This album was released by Cold Meat Industry and nowadays we present great re-edition in DIGI-CD.
"Hexerei Im Zwielicht Der Finsternis" is a dark and gloomy ambient music, played in classical dark wave vein. Minimalism in musical content, compensate by vocals, wich is more like musical instrument then a regular vocal.

Дуэт образовался в 1994 году, когда Nebelhexe (Андреа Хауген) переехала в Норвегию, к своему мужу Самоту (гитаристу Emperor). Там она и познакомилась с Nacht (Таней Стейн - женой Фенриза из Darkthrone). Совместный альбом был реализован на Cold Meat Industry в том же году. Спустя 15 лет мы представляем вам переиздание этого шедевра с частично изменённым оформлением в формате DIGI-PACK. "Hexerei Im Zwielicht Der Finsternis" - это 36 минут угрюмого, мрачного и холодного ambient, выполненного в классическом тёмном ключе. Музыкальный минимализм сочетается с невероятно мрачным ведьминским голосом, звучащим как Проклятье !!!

This is raison d'être alive! Put yourself in a comfortable position, light some candles in a darkened room and open a bottle of red wine of your choice. Prepare for meeting raison d'être live in your living room. Press the play button and imagine a dark place: hear a distant sound that multiplies and coming closer and closer. The sound becoming a sonic swarm that surrounds your body, penetrating your mind and makes your soul trembling in its sublime foundation. Now, inhale a massive amount of air and hold your breath for a while. Constantly repeat. Let the sonic landscapes trigger your experience. Be enlighten.
'The Luminous Experience', recorded on the darkest hour of Midsummer night 2008 in Enschede (The Netherlands), is the first complete live album from raison d'être featuring the whole set of one concert. The live set mainly contains live only material: a mixture of composed and improvised elements that has never been experienced on CD before. Present here are also some live adapted compositions from the albums 'The Empty Hollow Unfolds' and 'Metamorphyses'. 'The Luminous Experience' is the 11th original album by raison d'être since their first album 'Prospectus I', released 15 years ago.

Medusa's Spell - Last X Hours Limited-CD (cmi186)
The Italian duo Medusa’s Spell is back with their second album after the "Mercurial Behaviour" released on Cold Meat in 2006. "Last X hours"is also a conceptual album, this time following the ten last tragic hours of a woman who stands accused for witchery. Ten songs, each representing one hour of her last ten in life, from the moments of the trial, - when her body is completely exhausted from pain - until her mind resigned to her fate of death. The lyrics of the first and the last song is a curse! - the true words spoken by a woman falsely accused of witchery and condemned to death in 1428. The witch of Medusa’s Spell is however a symbolic woman representing all women condemned as witches. By infernal torments and torture her mind and tongue slowly converts to the Devil…and her voice becomes finally the voice of the Devil.
Medusa’s Spell has again created a genuine accoustic ritual dark-folk concept. Limited to only 800 copies!

RELEASE DATE: 20th of September
Founded on a prophecy about the downfall of humanity and the end of the world, the Norwegian industrial death metal band V:28 set out on a musical journey through a world in turmoil. Their three albums, NonAnthropogenic, SoulSaviour and VioLution released by Vendlus Records, constitute the Total Deconstruction trilogy, where the band dug far into the dark matter of the human mind in search for the ultimate apocalypse. The burning desire to explore new musical territories lead to a multitude of interesting collaborations and approaches within the extreme metal genre. As a result, V:28 has in many ways been a groundbreaking act in their field.
The idea of doing a remix album was spawned at an early stage in the band's existence. Carefully selected artists were invited to use V:28 source material to make their own interpretation of a chosen track. Not only does this release mark the end of the band, but it also showcases the experimental side of the band and much of what has been a great source of inspiration for the cinematic and apocalyptic sound of V:28. - The Total Reconstruction was born!
With the founding member of V:28 being a huge fan of CMI and with many CMI acts covering the V:28 tracks in fantastic new versions there was no discussion which label would be more suited releasing this obscure sampler than Cold Meat Industry.

The newest creation from Villa Bohult, the Nordvargr family burial vault. This time the «cursed poet» Wrest from the USBM Leviathan Cult and Drakhon (Beyond Sensory Experience, MZ. 412) have joined the night sessions of the never sleeping Swedish zombie.
It would be totally insane to be waiting for something life-asserting, light and positive for the three of them.
«Helvete» is just the overwhelming Darkness and the ice-cold all-filling Terror. Meditative and sinister Dark Ambient rhythms are filled with the ominous whisper of Wrest and Drakh. Deep and lengthy drones as well as the charming atmosphere of the Swedish industrial decadence.
At the end of this trip all of those nostalgic for the times of the «Burning The Temple Of God» MZ. 412 will be fully rewarded for all the years of waiting ...

Новейшее творение из Виллы Бохульт - родовой усыпальницы Нордваргра. На этот раз к ночным сессиям никогда не спящего шведского зомби присоединились «проклятый поэт» Wrest из USBM культа LEVIATHAN и Drakhon (Beyond Sensory Experience, MZ. 412).
Совершенно глупо было бы ждать от этой троицы чего - то жизнеутверждающего, светлого и позитивного ...
«Helvete» это лишь всепоглощающая Тьма и заполняющий всё леденящий Ужас ... Медитативные и зловещие Dark Ambient ритмы наполнены чернушным злым шёпотом Wrest'а и Drakh'a. Глубокие и протяжённые drone'ы, а также чарующая атмосфера шведского индустриального декаданса.
В финале этого трипа, вы все, ностальгирующие по временам «Burning The Temple Of God» MZ. 412, будите, вознаграждены в полной мере за все эти годы ожидания ...
